In the words of the CIH, ‘the need for regeneration has never been greater’.
Next month (updated – now being held Oct 2016) I will be leading a workshop at the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Beyond Regeneration conference in Manchester which will explore how housing associations could better support local community organisations and social enterprises to deliver more community and regeneration focused outcomes in challenging times.
As housing associations face ever increasingly difficult decisions about what ‘non-core-housing-related’ activity to deliver, this is a timely oportunity to engage in dialogue and explore collaborative opportunities and solutions.
I am seeking insight from grass roots organisations to feed into the workshop – if you can spare a quick five minutes for a short survey with your thoughts on the barriers, challenges and opportunities to work with the regen sector then please click here
I will report back on the discussions from the workshop in a future blog post
Update Oct 2016 – you can now see the feedback from the whole event here including my workshop on collaboration in innovation. And my imortalisation in coloured pens in the fab visual minutes from OPAG!
